Submission for My First Game Jam 2023 - Cycles
A fairly barebones puzzle-platformer where the protagonist, Ann, has the ability to cycle through time and use her past actions to progress further.
The game is unfortunately buggy at times and lacking in content, only having 5 stages and missing a few features that would be nice to have but I've been rather busy for the 2 weeks of development time. I may go back and add on in the future but I may prefer to rewrite it entirely if I do. As I progressed I started to notice much better ways of doing a good handful of things but didn't want to put in the time to change them because of the deadline (which I missed anyways u_u).
While I plan to use this page to release any updates or patches for the forseeable future, the original jam version made within the timeframe will remain unchanged. Enjoy the unbelievable amount of bugs there if I ever patch them out of the latest update.

I really like the way you incorporated the theme. The aesthetic is also really cool and the physics are well done and fun.
I noticed a couple of bugs that didn't let me go past the third stage.
Really nice entry. You should think of uploading a version to web so more people can play without downloading.
Congrats 😎👍
I'm glad you enjoyed!
If you don't mind me asking, could you explain the bugs a bit? I'm aware that there are a good few of them but I've struggled to recreate them to find the exact cause and fix it.
I don't really remember how to recreate them but the problem was some previous cycles didn't grab the cubes and/or stayed in the same position without moving.
I have a feeling a lot of the bugs are a result of my method of playing back the player's inputs, if I end up expanding the concept further I will need to completely rewrite that part most likely.
It is still a great game jam submission, and an expansion in content would be cool too.
